Printmaking

Printmaking-Representing you: We started by sketching out three different ideas of things that we could draw that represent us. From that practice we learned how to transfer our final picture onto the foam that we used to practice our printmaking. We got to color on the foam sheet with markers, we used warm, cool, or primary colors.

Extension Activity: If I were to do this in my classroom I would like to connect it to science. Instead of creating pictures that represent them my students could draw an animal. Afterwards students could even write where their animal lives and describe the habitat.
