3D paper

Halloween Monsters: For this project we created a monster that popped off the page. We started by learning how to do the hair. We then worked on making our face before we glued it down on the paper, making the eyes, nose, and drawing on the mouth. Once we got all our facial components on we glued our head down using folded tabs on the side to make it pop off the page and be 3D. We added ears, hair. and a neck to our paper and finished it off with adding a shirt. I added some swirlies coming off the top of his head to help fill some of the empty space.

Extension Activity: I want to do a 3D city sky line with my students. This would be something that could be easily printed off for students to then color and put together. I would integrate this into a lesson on urban cities, or if we talked about skyscrapers in class.
